It was my pleasure to meet Ron in 1974 when I started my teaching career in Sea Lake.
He was such a warm and welcoming person who always had a smile. He was genuinely interested on others.
He was supportive to me at the football club and I enjoyed my occasional visits to see Ron and Coral in the years that followed.I last saw Ron late in 2018 when Michael Musgrove, a fellow teacher (who lived with the Jollys at the start of the 1974 school year) and I came up to Sea Lake on a whirlwind visit.
A wonderful person was Ron.
