Funeral Notice

Service held Tuesday September 27, 2022 - 1:30pm

A Funeral service will be held for the Late Denis Wayne Atkin at the Grain Shed, Church of Christ, 2-8 King Street, Swan Hill Tuesday 27th September at 1:30pm.
Burial will follow at Swan Hill Memorial Park; Lawn D Section enter via Wattie Street entrance.
We wish to encourage you to express your sympathies and condolences to the family via a tribute on this announcement which the family are able to read, reflect and treasure.

So many treasured memories of growing up with your family never a dull moment in the Atkin household. Denis and I always enjoyed a chat as he did 👍 My favourite golf story with Denis I hit up on him on the 8th sand at Ultima with a three wood he saw it coming and hit back passed me on the half volley with his putter 😜 Gold Atkie RIP mate

  28. It has been many a year we have known Dennis and with Dianne I have personally known for well over 50 years. A great couple, 4 very healthy and happy children and beautfiul grandchildren too. They strove to provide the best they could for their family and although encountering many of the struggles we humans experience, they mananged through-out all this and Dianne and Dennis have been a constant source of reassurance in each other’s lives.

  36. To Dianne and family our deepest sympathy. Denis and I had many great times as kids at Ultima and at our farm at Penshurst. In later years we had many funny times in Melbourne having quite a few drinks and watching the Cats at the MCG. Sorry we can’t attend the funeral but will catch up soon.
