Passed away at Bendigo Hospice surrounded by her loving family after a short illness.
Loved wife of Steve. Loving mother and mother in law of Joel and Breanna, Daisy and Greg, Josh and Tori, Bonnie and Leigh.
Much loved grandmother of Maya, Mackenzie and Dylan; and Roy.

Funeral Notice
Service held Monday November 21, 2022 - 2:30pmA memorial service to celebrate the life of Janine Louise Spry will be held at the Grain Shed Church of Christ Monday November 21st commencing at 2.30pm.
A private cremation will have preceded the service.
The service will be live streamed for those unable to attend. Streaming code provided to the family.
Donations to the Cancer Council greatly appreciated, envelopes available at the service.
We wish to encourage you to express your sympathies and condolences to the family via a tribute on this announcement which the family are able to read, reflect and treasure.

Dear Steve and family. I am so sorry to hear of Janine’s passing. I have very fond memories of working with her at Swan Hill High School and know she was a much loved member of staff by both teachers and students. She was the light in the room and gave her all. She warmly welcomed us to her home and many a cold Sunday afternoon was spent bottling wine, having barbecues and a few cheeky fancy dress parties are also in the memory bank.

As her beautiful memorial service demonstrated, Jan was a very much loved lady who leaves us far too early and who will be very dearly missed by all who knew her. We will particularly remember her sense of fun, her warmth and easy-going nature, her welcoming and seemingly easy hospitality, her down to earth goodness, her easy laughter, her love of music – in fact, much about Jan you could say was easy … except saying goodbye.
Jan’s out of the blue, unexpected illness and death effects us all very deeply and I extend my deepest sympathy particularly to Steve and his family; and also to Jack and Mal who have now lost both of their sisters at a relatively young age to different types of cancers.
