It is with great sadness I leave this message for Jodey whom I’ve known for many many years.
I am comforted in thinking Jodey is now at peace, and reunited with her beloved Paul.

Jodey was a very warm, caring and loving friend. We delivered meals on wheels to Jodey and we were always welcomed with a hug, kiss and a chat. We missed you when you moved and didn’t know where you went. Hopefully you have now found peace with Paul and your Dad. Condolences to your family. Paulin Henson and Shirley Looney.

So many memories I could share, the list could go on.
But The One that stands out the most would-be back in 2011.
It was the fight of your life,
You became very sick and
Your last words you whispered with you fading breath, was your beautiful. But what I found beautiful was your determination to survive and to show that miracles do happen. You pulled through it like a true Johno, and proved them all wrong. The funny thing was when you were finally up and about, we walked you down from your hospital bed, for some fresh air.
You heard a lady with terets yelling out a few F words, so with your talent to make us laugh, you used your cheeky ability to get away with doing something wrong.
You would use your sickness to your advantage. you started yelling bigger and spat out the F words, plus more. You not only had us in fits of laughter, you had bystanders fully amused.
That’s the kind of person you were. And thats how you will be remembed. You cheecky lil bugga

Oh mumma I still cannot believe you have truly gone to the heavens above I miss you so so very much! I hope Alex and I have made you proud of the beautiful send off that you deserved! I’m so glad you were a young mumma so I got to spend my 26 years with you! You were always there for me you fought so hard to stay on this earth to be here with myself, Alex and the rest of your family and friends. However I’m am so devastated that when Alex and I have children that they will never get to meet the fun loving cheeky Nan that I new you would have been! Rest In Paradise my beautiful mumma until we meet again you will always be in my heart and soul ‘rock and roll’ to infinity and beyond buzz light year 1! Xxx
