NOT only an Uncle and Great Uncle, Uncle Bert is a Legend to our family. Always there when the times were tough, supporting us, making us smile, giving real advice that was greatly appreciated. We will all miss his broad smile and his stories. His cheeky little pranks that made us all laugh will always make us smile.
Uncle Bert these are the words that spring to mind when we think of you, strong yet gentle, supportive, funny, loving, cheeky, amazing, knowledgeable, incredible but most of all loving and caring.
Thankyou for everything, We will never forget you, Rest In Peace.

Uncle Bert was a great role model to our family. Even though a lot of my memories are from when I was much younger, the way in which he approached life was definitely inspirational to me as a young fella. His drive, commitment to helping his mates and family, his cheeky sense of humour and achievements are all big parts of my memories of him.
The respect he received from everyone was a testament to his nature and moral compass even as a young kid it was easy to notice.Much respect to you Uncle Bert, Rest In Peace Mate.

Our love to Jim, Pam, Elizabeth and family on the loss of Uncle Bert. Bert was a man who loved his passion driving trucks over many years. He used his skills in volunteering for the local Rural Fire Brigade and as a driver assisting local residents get to their appointments. Bert always had a tale to tell from his life experiences. Our thoughts will be with you tomorrow. Love Margaret, Ron and Joy 🌷
