  2. A great man! One of the people who stood out in my memories from my childhood living at Piangil. Allan and his family used to take me away with them on their holidays. He made growing up in Piangil so much more fun whether it was a slot-car track in one of his sheds to race cars or the home-made Go-Kart he built for Daryl and his mates to use out the front of our place (the former railway station). Never recall hearing Allan say a harsh word about anyone but do recall him with always a smile on his face when I was a kid. Allan and Judy were one of kind. My sincere condolences to Daryl, Glenda and Lynette and their families. From my own experience the pain will ease as time goes on but your memories of your father will live on.

  10. Mr Obree [Allan] The definition of a true gentleman in knowing him all my life I never heard a curse or harsh word about anyone or anything for that matter . When you took anything that was broken to him to look at he would never say it was had it If he couldn’t fix it on the spot he would nut it out and make it work a true bush mechanic He will be sadly missed by all. Condolences to Daryl,Glenda,Lynette and families. From the Fitzgerald Family
