I was so sorry to hear of Pud’s passing. I have always admired Pud, he had a quiet dignity in the way he dealt with the pitfalls of life but also freely celebrated the joys. I will always cherish dear memories of him, drinking red wine and eating eggs from forbidden egg cups. He will be a great loss to you and the district community.

To Diane and families
My sincere condolences to you all
It’s with such sadness that we say our goodbyes to Pudd at such a young age. A quietly spoken gentle man who I instantly liked from our first meet on Mount Panorama. I got to fish the mighty Murray River and have a ride in he’s beloved GT falcon and spent a few hours in his shed looking over he’s cars and collectables.
Rest easy my Friend.
Your Bathurst Buddy

And others from your neighbouring site on top of the mountain. -
Back in the day many years ago Pud and his family were our neighbours when we all had properties. Back then Robert, mates and myself use to ride motorbikes around the scrub and have a ball. We use to live right on the Murray River with a barbeque and Puds would always come over at the end of the day and we would always sit outside and by the river and have a beer. We shifted to Qld and then Pud meet the love of his life, Dianne and shifted to Balranald. I always kept in touch with Pud on and off over the years and touch base. Pud never changed he was still Pud. I am pretty sure that there was no one who didn’t like him, he was always Pud, he just never changed. My love goes to Dianne, kids, family and all his friends which he would have many. As sad as it is I am glad I knew him, I wish everyone was like him. Love to you.
