31. Dear Julie, Dean and Jo, Paula and Pete, Vaughn and Dette, Sally and Brendon and your families,
    Are hearts are filled with so much sadness of Barry’s passing.
    We absolutely loved having Barry as our neighbour and friend to us and our children. We have so many memories of Barry.
    Barry had this amazing outlook in life, kind and caring, nothing was too much and all this reassurance.
    When we moved in to Lalbert Street, Mick let him know that he would have music playing in the shed; Barry wasn’t fussed about how loud it could get! When Callum was born (time of the floods 2010-2011) Barry reassured me that the floods wouldn’t hit Lake Boga, nor would they come anywhere near our place; as the railway line was built up there. (Phew)
    Barry loved pottering around in the garden (ash and banana skins in the garden), edging and mowing. Barry explained about the tree planted in the front yard – gosh it has grown so much! Barry was proud of his vegetable garden and we loved receiving some produce from his garden.

    We last saw Barry when the kids came over and wished him a happy birthday. Bonnie and Barry celebrated the same day birthday.

    We will miss his chats over the fence.

    Barry showed so much courage.

    We feel as if a part of our life has been taken; but more importantly feel for you guys. Our thoughts are with you. We will light a candle for Barry. He will never be forgotten.
    Julie – may you know that if you need any support or help we are here for you.
