Condolences to the Teague Family. Barry and I had a lot in common, we were both Farmers. We met for the first time while playing Afl at opposite ends of the oval. He was playing for Swan Hill and I Tooleybuc. We happened to be walking off the field together after the game, and we started chatting. That went on for many years, when meeting in the street,at sales ect, we seem to just draw together for a Yak. I had a lot of respect for him as close friend. Good by Barry,We will meet again one day and continue our Chat.

Deepest Sympathy to Elva and Family on the passing of Barry.
From Chris Prater -(Jock)
I knew Barry from start of High/Tech School through sports, footy and tennis, and many miles in the
old FJ ute with Peter Scott spotlighting on weekends.
I moved away at end of school and did not see much of him but we had some phone calls discussing
joint replacements which we had a few of each.
Barry was a very dynamic person in all that he did and will be missed by all who knew Him. -

Our thoughts & prayers are with you at this sad time, as you remember the truly wonderful life of your special husband, dad, pop/poppy, Barry. His jovial personality & his kindness to many, was so appreciated. His friendship with my dad, spanned many years, both on the football field & in later life. They enjoyed each other’s company.
Resting peacefully now. God Bless.

I grew up just down Lalbert Rd in the 80s and 90s and I have very fond childhood memories of whenever we called into the Teague’s place with the peacocks strolling around the yard, as a little kid, I used to look up and marvel at this man who was full of energy with huge shoulders and a booming laugh, I remember being fascinated by his stories and turns of phrase. Barry had a heart like Phar Lap and I’m sure his loss is keenly felt by Elva, Fiona, Nicole, Lee and families, condolences to you all.

Dear Elva and family,
We’re saddened to hear that Barry has passed away. As a small child living on a farm in Lalbert Road my family visited the Teague family often and I have only fond memories of Barry as being a larger than life character, full of fun, great stories and the odd joke with us kids. May all the wonderful memories you and your family have provide peace and comfort at this sad time.
