To Selina, Children and Families. I will never forget the kindness that Dennis offered me when I accidentally knocked a child from his bike. His comforting words and quiet Professional manner were the most calming moments to me as the reality set in of what had happened. He will be missed by many, Especially by his Family. He will never be forgotten. His smile and wave will be missed everyday. Time is a great healer, for every Flower that Blooms, he will with you all forever and always. R. I.P. Dennis. God will be with you all ????????.

Dennis it is said that only the good die young. How true, we have lost a good man and an excellent Copper. You were just two years old when I graduated from the Police Academy to embark on a similar journey that you also started. Not every police officer is able to Police in a small community as a single officer station. You were one of the few who were fortunate to do so, and you did it very well. Our community has lost “their” copper and we all grieve that we have. Although you have left us you live on in your children and in time also in their children. In that context you will be around for a very long time. Rest easy Dennis you have touched the hearts of many and been part of their life’s journey and I for one am happy that you did. My sincere condolences to your family Selina, Shauna, Hannah, Jacob and to your extended family. Farewell. Geoff McGuigan Ex Vicpol 18876

A much admired & respected colleague never too busy to have a discussion around community issues or “look outside the square” for solutions – a good man taken too soon. You will be sadly missed.
