Thanks for the hours of patient companionship over jigsaw puzzles, the excitement of radio Brownlow nights – preparing the tally sheets together, recording the votes for every team and for the squeals and giggles as we travelled home via the spookily named Black Forest. Rest in peace (and premierships!)

Gavan was a knowledgeable man and well versed in
life.Loved his sport ,liked a bet.Have fond memories
of money changing hands over golf, cards and snooker.
The best things I ever received from Gavan were his
friendship and generosity.Thanks Gavan.
