Nugget
Nugget was a man amongst men he was a true bushman.
He loved all his family dearly and often spoke of his father and of course Jen, the boys and his grandchildren.
His second love was his shotgun and his fishing rods and the bush where he spent a lot of his time.
When he was about 70 he purchased a new Miriku shotgun, he wore it out in 10 years. These guns last most people a lifetime.
A great shot, Nugget was always coming back with more ducks than most people.
He loved his Sunday fox shoot in the winter, and we loved his lunch time stories. We could never work out how he knew which way the foxes would run.
As a fisherman there have been few better and always ready to take on the latest good gear to improve his catch. Not stuck in the old ways.
You always knew where you stood with Nugget if he thought you were a dickhead he’d tell you.
We will remembered him forever and he will be very sadly missed.
Condolences to Jen and family

First of all I’m very sorry I’m unable to attend this beautiful persons send-off, as I’m in Darwin to see my daughter. I’d like to thank Jen and Nugget for welcoming me into their home and trusting me to be a carer and friend for Tim, I always looked forward to the days I’d see everyone, having a cuppa a chat and a laugh, many people got mentioned in our chats which turned out to be that we often knew the same people very well, RIP Nugget and thankyou to the Domaille families for all being so friendly. Love to you all very much

Pop,
Your stories always seemed to get more elaborate and extravagant as time passed. Always making us boys laugh and keeping us entertained over the years.
I will forever treasure all of them and the memories that we shared. From shooting ‘Sox’ in the early Piangil days to being my biggest supporter at the footy. You will be sadly missed but forever have a special place in our hearts. I love you Pop.Go tiges
