1937-2022A cuddle from you, was like a glowing fire.
It was warmth, that this afraid soul required.A cuddle from you, was full of love and guidance,
It is this I will always cherish.A cuddle from you, will forever be a treasured memory,
One that will never be forgetten. You showed us how to love,
You showed us how to be compassionate,
You showed us the true value of a life well spent.
Thru your actions, you gave us the nectar and secrets of life. What you gave everyone that you met along life’s long journey,
cannot be engraved in a stone monument,
but it is woven in the fabric of those continuing this journey.May you rest easy, until we meet again.

Dearest Hill family,
Many treasured memories spent in my childhood with both Jim and Mercy. Jim, showing us kids how to make honey and collecting the peacock feathers on the farm, nights spent, in the loungeroom playing games and watching Television. Jim you were such a huge part of my parents lives especially my mums. Thankyou for being such a gentle man and soul. Blessings to your family, and to Mercy, and to Glenda, and the rest of your children. Our condolences are with you all at this time.

Dearest Mercy,
We were so sad to hear the news of Jim’s passing.
Just like you, Jim has been a generous, thoughtful and community minded person, and we have been grateful to know him.
He devoted much time to ensuring that a kindergarten raffle was amazingly successful through his work with the Men’s Shed.
His willingness to mentor our son, and to cultivate a love of bees, has been a journey for us all, and his legacy will live on in our family.
Our thoughts and love are with you.
