  1. In memory of dear much loved Auntie Lin. When I think of you I see your beautiful smile and hear your laughter. I remember your love of music and our fun singalongs. I also remember your indignant comments at times during political discussions. You didn’t hold back when you disagreed about something. Good for you! On our visits in recent years I also recall how much fun it was sitting around and recounting funny family stories. So much wonderful history there. If only we could have seen you more often. You will live on always in our memories and through your lovely sons. Sending love and thoughts to all of the family from Janet, Charles, Ruben , Fleur, Bian and families.

  3. In memory of Auntie Lin,

Auntie Lin had a great sense of humour and was always ready for a laugh and joke. We always looked forward to her visits or visiting her for the lively conversation, laughter and her sense of fun, with a great sense of family.

Auntie Lin was always fair and had such a great sense of justice for her family, community and country. She was vitally interested in how our society demonstrated this fairness and was a role model for us all of a life well lived, with strong values we should all demonstrate.

We will miss her very much, but she lives on so warmly in our memories.
Much love to David , Richard, Peter, Ian and families.
    We are thinking of you.
    Wendy, Ian and family.

  4. My beloved Auntie Lin, I have always felt a lot of love for you. Although we didn’t see you often and you lived so far away from us, when we did see you it was special. You had a presence which made people around you feel happy. I felt accepted by you and have a warm feeling inside when I think of you. I see you as someone who brought fun and laughter into the family. You were a pioneer of your day, in leaving Albany and your family to marry George and go all the way to Moulameinto live. That can’t have been easy, yet you stayed and brought up four wonderful sons. I will never forget how you supported me when I came to live in Bendigo away from my family and when we were able to get to Moulamein you were like a grandmother to Damon. You are part of our memories of family togetherness and a wonderful childhood. To David, Richard , Peter and Ian and your families, knowing how you will miss Linley we send you our love and thoughts. From Shanti & Ked, Damon, Gita , Sean and their partners and families.

  5. In memory of Auntie Lin.
Although I was only able to meet you a few times I felt knew you well through the old Austin family photos that I have sorted through in the last few years, and the stories that mum (Shanti) told me about visits to Moulamein in my early days.
My thoughts and condolences to the Redfearn family.
