Marion Elsie Gardner (née Hall)

Born on October 22, 1939 . Passed away on March 29, 2017 .

Marion passed away peacefully at Swan Hill on Wednesday 29th March aged 77 years.

Loving soul mate and wife of Graham for 50 years.  Cherished mother of Melita, Daniel and Marcus; mother-in-law of Andrew, Belinda and Tim; and Ma to Sam, Sophie, Ben, Bridie, Will and Gemma.  Daughter of Freda (Kay) and Val Hall (both dec.); sister of Ross and Clive.  Loved friend of Nina the spaniel.

The family would like to express their thanks to all of the doctors, nurses and allied health staff who cared for Marion so well.

Marion was a dedicated family person, fine cook and lover of good food and wine and talented oil painter.  She fought courageously to the end and will be sadly missed by all.

Funeral Notice

Service held Wednesday April 5, 2017 - 2:00pm

A celebration of the life of Marion Gardner will be held at the Swan Hill Lawn Tennis Clubrooms on Wednesday April 5th at 2:00pm.  A private family burial will precede the service.

The family requests no flowers.  However, donations to a scholarship fund for the Speech Pathology department at Swan Hill District Health would be appreciated as an alternative.
