Although I only met Marj a couple of times I heard many lovely stories of her from my brother Peter over the years. Loved seeing photos that you shared too. Your Mum may have had a tiny frame but was a great presence and I know will be missed. A wonderfully inspirational lady. ❤❤❤

  12. Aunty Marge’s positive, cheerful disposition and wise counsel inspired us to grow our confidence and pursue our dreams.
We have decades of happy memories – e.g. musical Christmas days with all sorts of wonderful food coming from the kitchen, prepared by Marge and Edna, Vic (Sutton) and Vern (Rowe) playing various musical instruments, when neighbours would pop in “for the one” pre-Christmas lunch – and in later years, Marge’s Happy Hours in Swan Hill when the order of the day was nibbles and a glass of wine, or something lighter if preferred.
We shall miss our chats and stories. We always felt supported and loved. Aunty Marge will be sadly missed, but always remembered.
At this difficult time, our thoughts are with Graeme, Michel, Paul, Merylyn and all the family. She was so proud of all of you.
May she rest in peace, a life well lived. xxooxx

  13. Condolences to the Rowe family whom I have known for over 50 years. Marje was a very open and aware person who demonstrated good old country hospitality and community-mindedness while also having an appreciation of the wider world through her travels and interests, staying active through such a long life. So good that she could live with Paul and Merylyn in Loxton in her later years, but when it was time to go she was back at home in Swan Hill.

  18. Dearest Marj,
I’m so glad I got to spend some time with you, listening to your wonderful stories and advice on life. The gifts you gave me are treasured in my collection and in my heart. The fondest memory I have of you was picking you and Betty up in Swan Hill and taking you to see Granny in Manangatang. It’d been a while since I had seen Granny’s face light up so much at seeing someone she cherished so much. I loved listening to you, Betty and Granny talk about life and all of the things you’d been through together and showing photos of you all when you were young.
To your wonderful family, my sincerest of condolences and much love sent to you all. Such an amazing woman we’ve lost, but what an amazing life to celebrate.
