Born on February 10, 1924 . Passed away on January 2, 2022 .

Formerly of Rodborough and Smeaton.

Passed away peacefully on January 2nd at Logan Lodge, Swan Hill, aged 97.

Loved daughter of Sydney and Matilda and loved sister of Charlie, Jean, Harry and Sydney (all dec). Loving wife of Alf (dec) and loving mother of Jenny Kittelty and Alison Boyd-Law. Loved mother in law of Barry and Ian and loving Gran to her grandchildren.

Funeral Notice

Service held Wednesday January 12, 2022 - 11:30am

A Memorial Service will be offered for the life of Mrs Marjorie Mary Redman, Smeaton Community Centre – Smeaton Bowling Club Inc (lessee), 3514 Creswick-Newstead Rd. Smeaton on Wednesday 12th January 2022 commencing at 11.30am. A private burial will precede the service.

Attendance at this Service requires Full Covid 19 Vaccination and masks.

We wish to encourage you to express your sympathies and condolences to the family via a tribute on this announcement which the family are able to read, reflect and treasure.

    We were so sad to hear of the passing of your dear Mum and Nan, Marj. She will be sorely missed, but forever remain in everyones’s hearts as the lovely sole that she was. She was greatly admired by us all and was a person who we should all aspire to become.

    We send you all our love at this sad time as you farewell your dear Mum and Gran .
    We know that you are blessed with wonderful memories of her devotion and love for her family , her warm loving smile and her interest in everyone. May those memories always make you smile and enable you to ‘get through’ the tough days and moments, as we know she will be greatly missed in all of your lives.
    We were very fond of ‘Gran’ and are fortunate to have happy memories of occasions that we have spent with her over the years.

  9. On many occasions I had the pleasure of sitting next to Marj in church, and always enjoyed the chats we had there. She was a sweet lady who will be missed by many. My sincere sympathy to her daughters and all who loved her.

    Thinking of you all at this difficult time.
    Marj and our mother Rita had such a wonderful time as neighbours and good friends. They were so sweet together, popping into each other’s houses for tea, watching a show or going off to church. They had a beautiful friendship and we know how much our mother treasured that.
    We also loved Marj and her stories of her family and the farm.
