Dearest Penny, Tim, Ben, Bec and all of Mike’s Family,
Your loss is so close to our own, and we understand the great loss you are experiencing now.
Growing up with a legend like Mike as friend of Don’s, he is regarded more than just a friend.
The stories will continue – with great embellishment, the songs will still ring in our ears; the fun and sense of humour will resonate with us all.
He will be so greatly missed, but at least he has a good mate waiting.
My condolences to you all. -

Our thoughts are with Penny and her lovely family at this sad time. My time spent on our ‘project’ was a pleasure and Tuesday afternoons for a sing, coffee and a biscuit were always fun. I sat down at my piano here in nz and played some ‘Mikey’ tunes with a tear in my eye. Mike’s comments in my ear as I recalled our practices and recordings. An absolutely lovely and great man, we will miss him . Thoughts and love to you all, Janette, Dale, Kirsten, Erin and Jack xx
