Loved son of the Late George Stanley and Ethel Janet, loved brother of Janet (Janey) in Scotland and her family; and George Duncan (Dec).
Good friend to his Uniting Church Swan Hill and Lake Boga Members.
Now at Rest.

Will miss all your stories Bob. You had the most interesting life of anyone I know, will miss you walking past the fence with stick on hand running it along the fence to make the dingoes howl. One of your few pleasures lately, the dingoes will miss you too, you used to tell me they reminded you of your times in the outback.also your stories of your times with the ABORIGINALS outback, this old Aboriginal will pass your stories on.

It is over 4 decades since I worked part time for Bob at Melrose Machinery in Adelaide. He and Ros were very kind to me, around that time I lost both my parents. Over the years we kept in touch. On our last visit to Melbourne from Hong Kong we brought Bob down from Swan Hill to meet his Niece and family. I know that meant a great deal to him to catch up with his relatives. Rest in peace old friend.
