He had a beautiful voice and would often used the tuning folk and start us singing.
He also trained us for our church choir, and always happy to have a chat.

Mr King was the most memorable teacher anyone could have had and my favourite (maybe not at the time). Would always stop for a chat and I don’t think he ever forgot a student.

Mrs King and family, condolences at your loss of a ‘One in a million man’.
He had a profound influence on many generations of children that passed through his classroom. He taught us lessons never forgotten. He gave us values and life lessons that set many of us up for life.
A truely remarkable influence on us that never really understood what a wonderful, generous person he really was to teach us and mould us for the rest of our lives.
Thank you Mr King truelly missed.

Thanks Mr Kim for your time as our teacher, much appreciated and well remembered – a great mix of discipline, learning and fun. I was fortunate to have 3 profoundly influential math teachers in my early schooling that gave me problem solving abilities that paved my way to becoming a scientist, Tom King (grade 4), Ms. Livsheen (grade 8 or 9 I think) and Bruce M. (11/12) for which I am forever grateful. I can still clearly picture his classroom and his love of teaching.
