  8. My dear friend Velia, I will miss our phone calls where you were often doing quite a few jobs as well as our chat. We would laugh about how you never wanted to miss anything, and how you never missed an opportunity to go away in the Caravan, or better still your over seas trips. Velia, you lived your life well, and had an amazing attitude to life itself, so stoic. I admired your ability to socialise well, with such a genuin care for people.
My Sincere Condolences love and prayers to Mac (Malcom),Jennifer, Leanne, Craig and families and friends.
Rest in peace My friend, until we meet again.

  9. Beautiful Velia l was honoured to get to meet you at one of our wonderful Berrie Lunches in Geelong .
We sat together and you asked me where l was from. I said “l grew up in a little town called Dartmoor. You won’t know where that is”
Mac put his hand up and said “I do l was the bank manager there”
Talk about a small world we then chattered for ages about people we knew .
Your strength was truly an inspiration to everyone that you touched Velia.
You lived your life to the fullest.
Sending much love to your beautiful Mac and your family.
