A sad loss for us all.
Catching up for laughs and jokes was all part of the game day experience for me and many others.
I will miss you brother -
Dad-
T’was night stars shining, full moon.
He was sleeping.
Death was creeping.
He died. It felt too soon.Only fifty years old.
He was quite the character I was told.
He was a good fighter, he was strong, he was bold.
But in the end, the tumour got hold.As the days go by.
I ask myself why.
It was him that had to die.
At least he passed peacefully, goodbye.
He’s been through so much, you wouldn’t understand.
This hero. He was my old man.

Darren, you were the big brother to my high school bestie, Saira. I remember the girly giggles we would have when she told me about the antics her ‘big brother’ had been getting up to many times. Darren, 50 is far too young but all who knew and loved you can take comfort that you are no longer in pain forever flying high watching over them. My deepest sympathy goes out to all.
