Deepest sympathy to Lesley and family, We would like to pay tribute to Bill’s service to the Swan Hill and district community, especially through his time as Councillor of the Swan Hill Shire and then the Rural City. Bill had confidence in and was a great supporter of staff, particularly during his period as Mayor. He was fiercely supportive of the local community but also had a special interest in the sister city relationship with Yamagata and in developing relations with the City of Jilin, China.
